Car Charging Group to offer mobile payment app
Car Charging Group, the company behind the ChargePoint network, has just selected a provider to develop a mobile phone app to pay for its services. DoubleBeam is to provide support for iPhone, Android, Windows and Blackberry mobile phone operating systems. The ChargePoint network is currently being deployed nationally. The app will have the ability to offer payment via e-check, debit or credit card – potentially reducing transaction fees for the consumer.
