Where is my Nissan LEAF?

A suburban road in Japan

Let’s think about this for a minute, shall we?

On March 11, 2011, not yet one full month ago, one of the largest earthquakes in recorded history impacted the country of Japan. If that were not bad enough, the earthquake was centered about 80 miles off of the east coast of Japan, generating a monstrous tsunami, creating even more devastation. Thousands were killed and thousands more are still unaccounted for. Many if not most of those missing are presumed dead.

We have been reading accounts on the MyNissanLeaf forum talking about the status of their LEAF delivery. Delivery has been moved. Dates have changed. Status has changed.

What about this? An entire country has been impacted by one of the largest natural disasters in recorded history. And they are still trying to build cars, and televisions, and computers. What if the tables were turned? What if it happened to us?

Please take some time to review these 47 photographs. Study them – don’t just scroll through them. Then tell me how important it is that your LEAF is delayed.

Amen to that, Ernie; sometimes we neglect to look at the full picture.
